He'll be 70 this August and still plays on the #1 court against all players at the club he belongs too.I was riding my bike home from tennis today (you got that right?? almost 70 years old and riding my bike home from tennis??) Anyway I saw a penny on the side of the road. I decided since I was on the bike I wouldn't bother to stop. Then I saw another penny. Then another one. I stopped and went back and picked up $1.73 worth of change.
A younger player asked one time how he does all that running around at his age. Dad said, "I don't run around. I just hit my shot and walk to where my opponent is going to return it." I guess there's something to be said for experience.
