Help identifying Miyata Frame

Hello,

I've been trying to figure out which model this Miyata frame is. I posted on ******, and it seems closest to an '89 1100a. The 721a has been ruled out because the paint is reversed.

Any ideas?

It seems the closest because it is that 1100a model.

I don't think it is. The 1100a does not have a gradient transition from the white to grey. Or was did it change at some point?

Most companies most of the time change their paint schemes every year, the 1989 1100a is the only year and model that had that color scheme, so it's quite possible either the paint factory changed it accidently just a hair or it could have changed due to mid year model changes? I searched the internet like crazy and 89 was the only year they had that color AND with that fade, meaning no other years had that color even not alone the fade...at least what I could find.

Normally I wouldn't search that hard for a bike question but I own 2 Miyatas so it interested me, LOL!!

It looks like a 89 1100a, the decals have been removed at the paint transitions.
