Many of us are much quicker with our criticisms than we are with our praise. I try to offer praise when due just as quickly as I might criticize something. Recently, I bad mouthed Pearl Izumi gloves. They fit great, and seem to have a great design, but the padding began delaminating from the main body of the glove in both my pairs of Gel Lites. In retrospect, it was probably because I dried them in the dryer once to often rather than let them dry naturally after washing.
That said, I wrote PI complaining about the gloves, and they wrote back indicating that they have a 100% guarantee on all of their stuff, and told me to send them back for replacement. I mailed them last week, and today I received two brand new pair of PI gloves. That is great customer service. BTW, I did mention when I complained about the gloves that I love their other stuff, and find their garments to be of the higest quality and great fit.
Anyway, I intend to care for the new pairs with a bit more sense than I did with the returned ones.
