Brand New Ultegra Di2

Hello I purchased a Boardman SLR from backcountry and received it last night. Upon taking it out of the box I attached the wire to the internal seat post mounted battery touched the shifters to verify battery charge and there was no charge indicated on the junction box. It came with charger so I attached it and left it over night. This morning still no charge indicated. Did I miss a step on charging and set up? Thanks

Did you connect the charger to a power source?

And I am the one that needs to be on an ignore list? This is the guy's first post, and needs help. WTF is wrong with you?

To OP:

Welcome. Most people here are far more helpful.

If you have the charger that lets you use Shimano's software, in addition to enabling you to update the firmware (including the battery firmware), it also enables you to run diagnostics.
