So it's been raining for almost a week now and i had to get out and ride. Anyone have tips or idea on how to keep the rain from rusting parts on my bike?

I have an aluminum frame so I think that helps. How about spraying it down with Wd-40 before the ride :)

After riding in the rain, I usually just dry the bike with a towel. The only rust I've seen is in the heads of the bottle cage bolts. I do have a carbon frame so I don't know how an aluminum frame would react to rain.

I know how Al reacts....... it really doesn't

If you keep your bike indoors and wipe it down with a towel after every ride you should be good to go.
I live in Seattle (the infamous rain city, though I think it rains harder in Miami) that's all I do besides

I've been commuting 25 miles a day all week in the rain, bike seems fine including putting in 50 miles on wednesday.

Just make sure it's properly lubed before the ride (WD-40 is not a proper lube), and dry it off when you get back.

Dang, rain would've felt good today. It hit 90 here for the first time this year and I was feeling it pretty hard. Humidity in Oregon is a killer in May.

Bikes are fine in the rain. Just bounce it up and down a few times before you take it inside to get rid of some of the water, and keep your parts lubed.

WD40 should be kept away from any bearing seals, it will seep in and dissolve the grease. It has its uses but on a Al frame its hard to think of one. Modern bike components dont rust very easily.
The best protection is to clean the bike thoroughly and apply car wax to the clean frame. Wax any exposed cables and bolts. You should ensure that the bolt threads are greased. Also grease the metal-metal contact areas of the seatpost.
Your bike won't dissolve or rust away from a bit of rain. Check occasionally so see that water is not collecting inside the bottom bracket shell. Remove your seatpost and invert the bike.
