Finally an update on my Wheel/Tire/Break upgrade
It's been a long time coming but I finally got my bike upgraded and went for a ride today. I went from Giant PR-2 to Bontrager Paradigm Elite, Tire have been upgraded to Continental GP IIs and brake went from mechanical to hydro. Here's the final look
The bike feels so much lighter than before (1lb) and my first impression was the rolling resistance was reduce significantly to what I had before. I always felt like the bike wants to go faster and faster. I am still having some ITB Syndrome issue so I really couldn't push myself too hard. Overall, the ride just felt fantastic. The bike seems to be very responsive. Great riding comfort overall. I did half the ride against the wind and I didn't struggle as much as I would before. I do not know if this is mostly due to the tire upgrade or the wheel itself.
I only get to use the brake a few time and they felt as responsive as brake needs to be. It was very sunny and dry so I didn't really put them to the test today. Apply the brake seems to offer linear and predictive force apply to the disc. It's all I could ask for.
More picture just because I can

Looks nice. Wheels and tires both lighter?
Were you about to outrun the goose in the background?
Brake or break - pick one and stick with it.
