Colorwise, there's already a lot going there, so black and black. Black is the new black. That's that.

Yellow tire, black tire, green and purple bottle cages, and the iconic smoke paint scheme?
yeah...black and black.
Or go full colorblind and toss a red saddle on with blue bar tape. Swap the cable housing out for something too then. Just full nuclear option it.

I like the colorblind idea.

Yep, lots going on there in the color spectrum. +1 for black on black; however, a black tape with a white print might look pretty cool. Thinking Supacaz Super Sticky Kush black with white print. I have some of this tape on my fixed gear bike with bullhorn bars and it is wonderful tape. Not cheap but they come with matching aluminum bar plugs though.

Take the ugly tires/bottle cages off and either go with white or black. Period.

Grey camo bar tape. Black saddle to play off the black tire.

Your hands will be blackened replacing your back wheel after fixing a flat tire, so any tape color but black,
you probably need to bring, neoprene gloves, a rag, or hand cleaner before you touch the bar tape.
Fizik gel pad/bar tape sets include black tape, otherwise you buy the pad set and tape separately.

I vote for the full WTF effect, too.
Too bad OffTheFront isn't in business any more, they had good tape in some awesomely crazy colors / prints.
Also seen a Selle Turbo / Contour re-issue in blue suede, period correct, and anything-but-black.

It's hideously 80s, so it's fantastic.
