Jamis Road bike with Flat Bars

Anyone use this setup? My LBS has one for sale (used) and I am getting curious. I current ride a GT comfort bike, but want to upgrade to a road bike, that will also be used for commuting.

Thinking the price is around $300.

I ride a Marin flat bar road bike for commuting and family rides. Very nice setup and I think if you aren't interested in the fast drop bar style of bike it is VERY good for road riding. Click the link in my sig to see what I have.

My main commuter is a Jamis Coda flat bar road bike. I like it for my commute, but if I'm going out for long rides in the country, I'll take the Lemond Sarthe (okay, okay, WHEN I actually get one!)

I never heard of Jamis before Tuesday night. I assume they are a good company. It's what the LBS carries.

I ride a Jamis Coda eilte. My first adult bike. I really like it a lot and would recommend it to anyone. It has a flat bar, which I really wanted when I bought it. My commute has since gone from 8-9 miles to 27ish miles a day. Now I would really like to have drop bars for the extra hand positions and for the lower position while riding into the wind of the potomac.
