I've seen some weird things in my time but...

I was riding home and I heard what sounded like a huge truck coming, I look back and it's a new looking Buick with the front bumper draging under the car, the old timer behind the wheel must have been deaf.

I once was on the freeway and the cops used those stop sticks--the guy behind me (who the cops were chasing) kept on going and passed me riding only on his rims with sparks flyign everywhere--i dont think he would have stopped if it werent for the sheer physics invovled.

Yeah, we see that alot here in LA......people speeding away in bare rims, no tires, sparks and all, being chased by police.

Those Buicks are quiet though, so maybe he didn't hear it because of GM's quality...

Once saw an old guy back into a VW Beatle trying to get out of a tight parallel parking spot. His trailer hitch ball got under the VW bumber and he just pulled it up the street with him.

I pulled up along side an elderly lady (in 1976 or so) who was screaming the motor on her Caddy accompanied with this gawdawful racket coming from underneath......I asked her what was wrong and she said the car just wouldn't move. Her drive shaft had dropped at the rear u-joint and was thrashing about on the ground. "It just isn't possible! It's a Cadillac" hooo boy
