A man who knows what he wants.

A man who won a $220.3 million Powerball lottery jackpot -- the second-largest single-ticket Powerball winning -- plans to invest the money and become a billionaire.

Other than a high-end racing bicycle, Duke has no plans for any large purchases.

I sincerely doubt he'll stick w/ that plan --- I know I wouldn't.

Lockheed martin is experimenting with a new type of Ti. It's basically 6/4 Ti, but it has carbon fibers incorporated into it. Supposedly it's alot lighter and stronger than a regular Ti tube/sheet.

I would buy a boat and go fishing every week. Then I would buy my dream bike(Independent Fabrications Crown Jewel) and some nice campy components.

$80M...

I'd get a bike with a couple of rockets attached to the side... hahaha, I sound like a kid. I would though, so jumps would be higher, going downhill would be quicker, and a whole lot more fun on pavement too...

Build my own road for cycling. $80 million would get you about 80 miles or 130km.

No cars, no lights, no potholes, no car parts, no kids, and no pedestrians.

Y'all can come ride on it too, no charge.

What would you do with the $79,999,600 left over
A duo with a couple of hot escorts will only set you back 400 bucks or so

not that I would know anything about that

I'd buy all the houses on my street and ask my friends to move in. Then I'd buy them all a clunker like mine and we could all ride up to the bar, where they would buy my drinks (I wouldn't want to turn into a pushover).

I'd purchase 10 Million dollars worth of Star Wars memorabilia. I really dislike the movies and all the hoolplah about them, but that buying that **** and saving it is better than investing your cash in a Roth IRA. I'd put it away as a nest egg for my child when he retires after working for a living to become a real man, not some daddies boy prick like you see everywhere.

Then, I'd purchase the company I used to work for, pay all the employees a hefty sum to retire on, and burn the ****ing building to the ground.

After that I'd buy me about 300 acres somewhere in the south, have it set up to be totally self sustainable with windmill, hydro-electric, and solar power; limestone filtered spring water; the works, and retire to it until my end has come. I'd fish, hunt, relax, and be happily ignorant of all the bull **** that city folk have to put up with.

Anything left over after that will be put away for medical purposes as I'd have no insurance to speak of as well as other things that I may come across.

Oh, and my wife can come too if she wishes.

Considering you could put it all in 4% Treasuries and get a sweet $3.2 million a year in interest income, I'd probably buy a house, hire a housekeeper, and quit my job so I could ride more. Maybe I'd buy two houses so I could have nice weather year round... And commission the invention of the low-fat, low-calorie, great tasting Krispy Kreme.

I'd probably get a coach before a new bike...all the bike in the world won't raise my LT or aerobic capacity.

What high-end racing bike did he buy? Maybe that company can come up with an ad: "Worthy of a Powerball Winner's First Buy!"

I was thinking along those same lines. But I'd want the warehouse near downtown, and I wouldn't stop at the keg fridge. Nope. Fully stocked bar. Probably with some pool tables and pinball machines.
