likely a dum bass question about an old bicycle...
my daughter came home from the salvation army with a "present" for her boyfriend...a "royal scot" 3-speed...i checked all i could on-line - determined that it was all original, hub date '67, etc. the one person who mentioned the "royal scot" thought that it was a name brand for a bicycle built by a new york city manufacturer....i'm dubious, as it has "made in england" on the plate, and a brooks seat also stating "made in england"...just curious if anyone has any info regarding the "royal scot" line of bicycles.... other than the tires, which almost seem original - but a bit of rot, it's in mint shape.... well, thanks for any help...

You may want to crosspost this in classics & vintage, or have your thread moved there. Those peeps know quite a lot.
