    Crumpler Vs. Timbuk2 Vs. others...

    Hello everyone,
I am thinking of buying a new messenger bag that I'll use for commuting. I want something durable, waterproof and decent in size.
Currently I have an old Timbuk2 in small size which I useed for a few years. it's a great bag, strong, durable, and fairly waterproof. it's too small for my current needs so I need someting bigger like current Timbuk2 medium sized bags. The problem that I have with Timbuk2 is that they are made in China nowdays and the prices are still pretty high. So I want an alternative.
I noticed Crumpler bags. How would you compare them in terms of quality, durability and appeal to Timbuk2? What would be a Crumpler's equivalent to Timbuk2's medium size?
Do you know any other messenger bags out there that are decent? In fact, the lessknown the brand the better; I'm curious, I'd like to see what's out there.
    Thanks.

Actually timbuk2 messenger bags are still made by hand in San Francisco.

read more about their manufacturing here:

check out this american company that handmakes bags for & by
    real life couriers (messengers).

I bought one for my son to use and he's hauled it all over the world as
part of his job. He claims it's a tank that just comes back for more.

These bags are so well made they make all the others into "wanna be's"
