Seniors forum

How old are you?

Just taking a poll to see if we need to start a, "Seniors Forum."
Maybe also a subforum, "Curmudgeons." Also a teen forum and a twenty-something/thirty-something forum.

Just kidding. PUT DOWN THAT KNIFE!

I was going to say, "None of your business," but I realized I already know my own age, so the cat's out of the bag.

40 - 50. (Makes me look more mature than, "35 - 45")

Looks like we need to open up a thread for "how far did you ride your bike to Woodstock?"

Peace

There is a group of riders in their 70's in the Denver area who call themselves the Old Parts

I have run a forum for several years called "Senior Fitness" For awhile it died a slow death (from 60 members at one time) to a few now, but is showing a few signs of reviving. We had some top international senior talent involved, but they are mostly too busy to get much involved with a forum!!

Bicycling
National Senior Swimming Champion
A lot of rowers, both inside and outside
etc.

This is at least the third time around for this poll. One of these days someone will get it right!

I would be interested in a 2-dimensional questionnaire which correlates bicycle age with rider age. (I'll turn 52 when Tullio Campagnolo's 101st birthday rolls around this year; my oldest bike is 43.) I would like to know how many of our younger members collect and ride the classic road bicycles of the 1960s and 1970s.

39 on Monday (22nd July).

By the way, just thought I'd let you know that your birthday card hasn't arrived yet. There are still a few days to go but I'd hate to think it's got lost in the mail.

I think we need a poll on how many times we've done the "how old are you" poll.

Well, I think the seniors forum is a new twist. Someplace where we can discuss the relative merits of steel vs. titanium vs. aluminum walkers. (Hey! Even cyclists have to walk!)

Couldn't remember the earlier polls, but at my age (41) it's what you'ld expect.
