I feel like riding to the lake...

But it's supposed to be 98 degrees today, and I'm a wuss when it comes to heat.

Hmm....

BTW, the lake is 21 miles away.

take some spare clothe with you and jump in the lake to cool off and head back home.

Load up with sunscreen and water, and go. If you start to overheat, slow down. Stop in the shade and drink some water while you watch butterflies. When you get to the lake, swim in it. If there is any kind of a rock face, jump from that into the lake. Dry off in the sun and then swim again. Make sure your hair is soaked when you get back on the bike. When you get home, write "The Best Day Ever" at the top of a new page in your journal, and record all of the events.
