    rash ?...

I'm not sure if it's a rash or chaffing but never have had this before I started riding a few months ago. It's where the leg meets the body near the, well ... scrotum . Gets very raw and itchy at times . I wear the padded shorts or bibs and yes, I do wash them. Any ideas ??

Could be the beginning of a saddle sore. Not good. Sometimes, washing itself is not enough, you have to be very very careful to dry completely after your shower. I know of one guy who sometimes uses a blow dryer to dry down there. The reason is that, unless you're using anti-bacterial soap, it's very difficult to get rid of all of the bacteria that can build up from sweat. Leave the area damp [and warm] and you have a perfect breeding ground for wee beasties.

For your immediate problem, get some kind of tpical zinc oxide preparation like Ihle's Paste or even the diaper rash ointment of your choice [a saddle sore is just diaper rash on a cyclist] and apply generously for a couple of days.
when walking, just walk. when sitting, just sit. when riding, just ride. above all, don't wobble.

Second what velocipedio says. Zinc Oxide paste works well. There is also a commercial product called BodyGlide that does a good job, but is much more expensive. Some folks like it better though.

agree with all of the above and have
    one additional thought,
    Chamois creme applied to both
chamois and yourself to lubricate and
    decrease friction.
I thought this was not needed due to
    synthetic chamois, but have since
    learned otherwise.
Bag Balm works well too and is
    cheaper that Chamois Butt'r

It looks kind of pink & raw. Gets itchy and peely at times. Sounds nice, doesn't it?

I just have little bumps, any one know what that is. I was told by some that it is the hair is rubed to the point that is grows inward, but i dont know if that is true. Thanks
