what bike should i get

Hi, i'm new to this forum. I've just recently gotten into cycling. I'm 13 years old, and I used to only ride my bike to get to places. Now I do some road riding and trail riding. Currently i have a Mongoose DXR: here . im thinking of using that until next year, because i don't ride that much in the winter. Next year, I want to get a pretty good hybrid, like the '06 Raleigh Passage 4.0. What do you guys think? im trying to stay around $400.

That bike looks similar to the Raleigh C40 I bought in February. It's been a great bike (though it's not getting as much use since I upgraded). No complaints from me, and that's saying more than you might realize.
Best of luck.

I don't have specific model suggestions, but I think you'll enjoy the hybrid a lot more than your full suspension rig. Be sure to take good care of your bikes. Don't leave 'em laying in the yard. Learn how to maintain them and they'll serve you well.

Just whatever you do don't get a Carrera Pacific. Very poorly built. And My Forks are already bent. I guess the 4" drop wasn't so good for it lol.
