What a Intresting Ride Today
Today I was biking along a small highway. There were wide shoulders on both sides of the road, and a sidewalk on the left side of the road. I proceeded to enter a small town on that same stretch of road when two kids biked towards me. One of the kids was on the opposite side of the road on a mountain bike, while another kid biked towards me, biking against traffic may I add, on a bike that looked like a Harley Davidson. The kid who was on the same side of the road as me proceeded to swerve in the shoulder side to side as I approached. After awhile I noticed that he was swerving towards me even after I had moved over. We got closer until he finally moved over and passed me with a big grin across his face. I looked back and he looked at me still with his smile. Mind these kids were probably 8-12 years old, and were not wearing helmets either!
I won't get into how I nearly got hit by a elderly driver today. Probably the closest I've got to being in a serious accident.

Makes you glad school will be in session soon, huh? Sorry about almost getting hit by an elderly. That happens so often to me, I just expect no one can see me and work around them. There are times I wish I carried a blow horn.

Ha, yes, I leave Sunday for college. Too bad for me because I don't bring my bike up there but on the upside I don't have to worry about drivers. I don't bring my car either, up at college everything is really well located and the need for a car is minimal.
