Well at least there seems to be some semblance of justice.

GOOD! That kind of stuff pisses me off!!! Ripping people off at the expense of a good charity. There used to be tons of LiveStrong bands for sale on ebay. People were paying up to $20 each for a $1 band. That burned me up to see that too.

I lost my father to cancer seven years ago. I have bought 30 LiveStrong wristbands to give to family and friends. I'd never consider using them for profit.

I see loads of the fake ones here in shops.
You can get multi coloured ones even. I have been told the font with "livestrong" is different but I wouldn't know. Maybe it's time to dump the band idea to ensure the money isn't distributed to pirates.
I don't know about in the states but there seems to be a new group formed here in Japan to sell bands, and are advertising on TV. The bands have asterisks on them. It looks like many groups are trying to profit off the Livestrong idea.
How about simply allowing people to support the cause by making their donations at banks, through payroll deductions etc.. This system has been working for the Cancer Foundation and other Organisations in Australia for years. This way you are sure your donation and support is going to the people who deserve it.
Steve.

I read someplace people were paying $5 for the fake ones. How silly is that since the real ones are only $1 and you can find them all over the pplace
