Weird injury

Was out riding the bike early last Saturday morning when a small rock flung off the front tire and smacked directly into the rim of my right nostril- stunned me somewhat, but not devistating at the time, little blood. Fast forward to Wednesday, cellulitis developed over the nose w/ swollen sunburn redness and intense pain in the area where the rock hit. Now on oral antibiotics (Keflix) w/ the possibility of IV antibiotics if the cellulitis is not halted in the next couple of days. Man that nose was really hurting from just breathing, but feeling somewhat better after 2 oral doses of antibiotics. I was told something like this, left untreated, could develop into a more serious outcome such as sepsis (blood poisoning). No bike riding for the next couple of days. Too weird eh, but still not weird enough for me (HST said that!).
