I am interested in starting a blog for my cycling.
How do I go about doing this. I have done no research on it yet. I thought maybe I'd ask for advice here first. If someone would point me in the right direction by providing some web links I'd appreciate it. Does it cost to start & write a blog? If it does not what is the catch? If it is free am I required to sign up for & agree with a bunch of stuff that can cause spyware problems on my computer? I don't mind paying for things especially if it keeps unwanted stuff of of my pc.
if you just want to track ride length, weather, etc take a look at bikejournal.com It's free! and you can join the bikeforums team and it logs your miles with our group.
Go to blogspot.com. I don't remember, but you probably have to agree to the privacy agreement and the usual standard stuff, but beyond that, you don't have to give up the usual info. If you're concerned, just start up an email account with any old email service and use that for your blog only.
You can also use craigslist for your blog.
blogspot.com is free and decent for first timers. i actually started my blog about a year ago as a way to track my excercising and weight loss goals and riding stuff. it somehow turned into more then that though? later.
I'm already a member of bikejournal. But I was unaware of a bikeforums team. Thank you for the invite. I will join.
