What California universities have cycling teams?

99% sure I have seen UCLA cycling jerseys on a fast pack of riders a few years ago. Not sure just what level of support the club/team has/had from the university.

Stanford has a team.

UC Irvine has a bicycling club. I would join but I have a year or so before I transfer there (If I decide to transfer there). I don't think I can manage being in a competitive club with school with work.

I could swear the University of Spoiled Children had a cycling team. :D

UC Santa Cruz has a decent sized one. I see 'em out occasionally.

There are many cycling teams throughout California.. are you looking at Northern or Southern California.. The West Coast cycling is very strong..

No where near SDSU. I wonder what gives...

My former roommate was on the UC San Diego cycling team about 15 years ago.

UC Davis has one. My son was on theirs. Probably all the UC system schools have one. :)

Are they just road or do they have a MTB team as well?

UCSB has both a road and MTB team...

UC Davis has MTB as well.

I think she meant USC = University of Southern California but Stanford counts too.

Off the top of my head...

SDSU, UCSC, USD, CS Pomona, USC, UCLA, Stanford, Berkely, Davis, most of the other respectable colleges.

If they are a good-sized squad they have both road and MTB.
