Trek 7500 FX - Happy! Happy!
I had been looking at new TREK bikes and figured I'd start off on my new biking for fitness with some existing equipment. Saw a used (150 miles?) TREK 7500 FX in the classified ads of my LBS. Nice chap - bought a Hybrid a couple of months ago and really wanted a road bike. He bought the road bike and sold his almost new Hybrid - $375! Upgraded tires (Bontrager Hardcase), mirror, clip pedals and original pedals!
This is a sweet piece of machinery and, while I would not have paid $375 for a new TREK 7200FX or 7300FX, the chance to get a 7500FX at this price was irresistable.
Had to share this info! Really trilled with this purchase.

Hey, cool!!!
That's a solid bike for the money...actually a very nice deal. I have road, mountain, and hybrid bikes (mine is a Jamis). I know the road bike is lighter and faster, but, truth be told, the one I usually grab for is the Jamis. Very convenient to grab and run with.
Enjoy it!!!

$400 shipped is an excellent price. Congrats! Thanks for the comments. Today I'll get to ride it farther than a few blocks.

I just got a Trek7500 that is 3-4 years old for US$ 250. I'm very happy with it so far.
