Um, no.
Besides, there is nothing I'm gonna do on a bike to justify a felony charge of fleeing.

Boy that's some wonderful video quality. It's almost like it's not real or something. And the comentary, it's just spectacular.
Anyway... I know I can get away from a cop on my bike. It just has to be a bike cop.

Every lane is a bike lane
*shrug* I pass police cars all the time when riding to work through the gridlock. I don't see what all the fuss is about.

When I was a kid we rode away from cops on our bicycles often. We had offroad areas into which we could flee, pedestrian bridges, etc.
On the motorcycle boards running from the cops is a real and live topic, much discussed. It's easy for many riders on newer bikes to get away from police nowadays. A lot of bikers hide the plate up underneath the rear fender, and have kill switches for their lights. Rather than pay a ticket, many riders would rather open the throttle and be done with it.
I would guess it would be hard for police to mount a real pursuit of a bicyclist in an urban environment, with heavy traffic. Lucky for most bicyclists police almost never chase them.

Back when I was young and stupid I outran a car full of angry teens who were trying to run me down after I flipped them off. I just turned the wrong way on several one-way streets and scooted down several back roads. It's not really possible on a freeway though--it looks like a staged video.

And if you download the hi-res version of the video, it's a bit more apparent that this was faked.
(In the actual news footage, the front "police car" is the fugitive being chased)
