Specialized or Giant?
I'm getting a bike for commuting around my campus, and have narrowed it down to the Specialized Expedition Sport and the Giant Sedona. Does anyone have any personal experience with these bikes? Any suggestions would help. Thanks - Dave

I don't have a Sedona, but I've been riding a Giant Innova for close to ten years and it's been great.

Both my wife and I are extremely happy with our Giant Sedona DX bikes. Mine has wider knobby tires because I like to get off on trails occasionally. The wife's has narrower and slicker tires since she prefers mostly roads. For riding aound school I'd recommend setting it up the way my wife's is.
As far as Specialized is concerned, I've only looked at the road bikes. Even my road bike is a Giant though. Specialized was a little above my price range.
I predict you'll be happy with the Giant.

I'm a big fan of Giant bikes. I've got a Giant NRS 3 dual suspension mountain bike, and I haven't been able to find a single thing wrong with it yet.

Specialized are good bikes, but you might end up paying a bit more for it over a giant, they seem to be a bit lower in price
