The weird things I do when I'm not cycling

I find myself doing bike things when I'm not cycling.

For example:

I wave or nod at cyclists automatically even when I'm walking or driving... get some "who the @#$% was that" looks.

I usually have a water bottle close by (in the car or office) and take a sip every 10 mins or so.

I reach for my back pocket (imaginery jersey) when my mobile phone rings or need my keys.

Look at my watch to check my heart rate.

You???

HAHA. I do the same thing. I sometimes play computer games in that mix.

I stop my car using brake levers I don't have on the steering wheel.

sleeping, reading, internet surfing, watching movies, homework, eating out. Feel happiest on the bike I think.

Yup. My TV's in the living room and the computer's on the second floor. I get my aerobic benefit from walking up and down the stairs. My wife absolutely doesn't understand but she knew that I was goofy when she married me.

If I walk too far it gives me whiplash! But there's no stopping the learned behavior of looking over your shoulder before moving into another lane

Walking a 110 ppm, leaning forward while climbing stairs, and taking my fixed in my car to cruise from the parking lot to the main building, then to the restaurant instead of walking.

Trackstanding without a bike.

I look up and to my left when walking, to check out my rear-view mirror. But since I don't wear my helmet on walks, I never know what's going on back there.

While driving my car I imagine what cycling would be like on the stretch of road I'm currently on, especially hills.

I start driving the car at the same speed I would be cycling. I pace myself going up big hills so I won't blow up. (in the car)

I wonder why all the cars want to go so fast?

You ever find yourself using hand signals out your window to point out road hazzards while driving and drivers think you're turning?

After you smack your wrist into the closed window it's easy to remember not to do that.

Same thing with throwing lit salutes out the closed window!
