What makes for a good bike/frame picture?

I want to get some good pictures of my 4 bare frames, as well as the bikes we have...any suggestions on the best methods and/or techniques for photographing them?

Thanks.

Use an un-cluttered, non-reflective background that is neither white or black. Use lights (reflected off a white sheet or such) from several angles. Use a tripod and remote. Bracket your exposures.
