"Glorious Ride" threads?
"Glorious Ride" threads?
We want a SoCal forum!
Just your average club rider... :)

I may get it added to the censor list. How does this sound: "Did anyone get a ******* ride today in DC?"
Don't worry, it's not getting out of hand.
You think these moderators are accomidating to posters' wishes?
Bikes use brakes to stop.
If your bike has breaks, don't ride it.
Did anyone have a glorious ride today in Bangladesh?
Two wheels good. Four wheels bad.
Alternative proposal: Can we send all the "Glorious Ride" threads off to the triathlon or some other forum I don't read?
Regional forums would rock. Love to see a SoCal one.
or you could just ignore it
would not be hard
I find the phrase Metro Area most objectionable.Originally Posted by koffee brown

Better yet, "Anyone get *******, anywhere, today?"Originally Posted by The Seldom Kill
It might be more interesting to a wider group than the regional "glorious stuff".
Think about how many regions that would have to cover. It would be beyond insane to maintain.Originally Posted by EricDJ

We could put those threads in the mountain bike racing forum. There have only been two posts in the last 10 days.
Thinking out loud. Impossible task for BF moderators. But they could sanction other sites to do the local thing ... like craigslist. Give 'em the phpBB template kit (graphics? censor list?) so they're set up to look a little like BF, and provide a link forum or page to link to all the affiliates. A disclaimer at the top so people realize that the local is run by different folk. Keep it strictly focused on local rides, events, conditions, stores ... so it doesn't get out of hand. SoCal, for instance, has a lot of computer savvy guys/gals ... there must be someone interested ...Originally Posted by Maelstrom
