Anyone else get a Glorious Ride in the SF Bay Area Today?

I did my usual loop from home out to Fort Point and back. It was cold and overcast, but at least it wasn't raining (which is supposed to start again tomorrow and continue for the forseeable future).

When did they move Seattle to California?

About 15 of us (15 at the start, picked up a few along the way, and a few peeled off for a shorter ride.) headed out to the coast. (The Coastal Classic, for you locals), Ended up with a nice 73 miles ride to (probably) close out the year. Nice that there wasn't any rain today but I was disappointed that we didn't see much blue sky and it didn't warm up much.

No glorious ride today. I may have a sopping wet one going to the grocery store though.

I plan on having a glorious ride as soon as I'm off work.

Assuming, of course, that the weather doesn't sh1t the bed, FBM style.

Every winter I believe.

Unlike you guys, I can't do any riding right now because of snow and ice.

Instead for fun, unlike you guys in Kalifornia, I can go shoot my DSA SA58. Actualy, my buddies and I are going shooting later tonight.

Five of us started from Newark and headed over the bridge to climb Edgewood Road. We also stopped for snacks at Roberts Market and totaled about 50 miles.

Computer problems. I spent the last 24 hours fixing my glorious POS computer.

There have been about 45 minutes a day for the past couple days worth of good riding time, the rest of the time it's been either raining or very cold. But I'm getting my thirty minutes in each day so this winter won't be a total biking loss.

I don't mind the rain that much, but the wind has been pretty lame lately.

I haven't run into the wind on my commute, but the rain has actually been kind of fun to ride in. Not fun enough for me to go do a fun loop on the weekend though... my raingear leaks.

Raingear? I just wear tons of wool.

It takes on about twice its weight in water, but it sure does keep me warm.

I love wool too, but am too poor to buy much of it. I have a lot of thick merino wool socks and a couple merino wool sweaters, and love to wear them.
