Anyone else get a Glorious Ride in the Sprawlville Metro Area Today?

So I'm taking my new Madone out of my home in the new Foxcroft way subdivision just north of the loop. I'm heading down Hickory Blvd and the weather is stunning. I pass a guy puffing up a hill on a 'nago which is cool because those guys on Italian bikes are such posers. Anyway, I'm passing the strip mall with the Dunn Bros and this guy in what looks like a '93 Lumina honks at me. He is =way= out of his neighborhood. So I turn down Kings Roost Ave towards the Starbucks and pull up between an Escalade and Jag in the parking lot. I saw Mrs. Whitley pull out in her beemer and she gave me that smile that I know means business. Life is good in the 'burbs.

Ack, it's late and it's snowing.

Say "Hi" to Mrs. Whitley for me. She was quite a babe in her day.

Sounds like it was indeed a glorious ride.

Go to any large American city, head outside the interstate loop around it, and you'll find miles and miles of strip malls, golf courses and McMansions. That's sprawlville.

Ah, I see. That pretty much describes my ride yesterday. Just inside of the interstate-loop to the left, you'll find a strip-mall. Golf-course is just off the edge to the left. McMansions everywhere! It was also about 72-F.
