Today I went to the first ever Iowa Bicycle Coalition Bicycle Film Festival. It was a fundraiser for the IBC. It was held at the Vaudville Mews in downtown Des Moines at 2:00 pm. It was free but donations were accepted.

The 3 films that were shown were: "One Got Fat", it was a kids bicycle safety film from the 1960's. "The Yearbook", which was produced by Yakima. The headliner was "The Triplets of Belleville".

I already have a copy of "The Triplets of Belleville". I want to get a copy of the other 2.

I hope the IBC does the film festival again next year. I'll drive 200 miles for it again.

I am also in Des Moines for the state wide RAGBRAI/RIDE RIGHT meeting tomorrow. The film festival was just an added bonus, but I'd have come just for the film festival.
