5 Posts a day! Is this normal?!

I just saw on my public profile that since i joined 6 months ago i have been posting an average of more than 5 posts a day! Am i the only one or one of the few.. ! Or does this single me out as a Class A Loser with too much time on my hands ha ha. I know at least one poster who thinks i conform to that description but oh well, what do you guys think.

Should some people spend less time on BF?

Should you?

In my case it helps a heck of a lot that i can get by on part time salary and that my Boss does not mind one bit that i spend more than 4 hours online per shift. I am a nightwatch in a Hotel btw (not a rent a cop as someone here once alledged). Now if only my employer can get a decent internet connection like the one i have at home. Oh well at least i get to meet lots of girls at my job ha ha! Can't have it all.

This thread reminds me. I have to get that check business sorted out, so i can support BF by becoming a member, going to try to get some checks again tomorrow. I like it here and i like most of you guys! And yes, i do have friends and don't do self mutilation (except on rare occasions when wrenching by accident) in case anyone wondered.

On another almost totally unrelated note, at first i didn't digg him, but now i miss Sydney man... I really do.... As a mechanic and general bike knowlegde guy he 'pwned' everyone. Plus he had me beat twice over when it comes to posting. I sure hope he is riding up there and looking out over us and BF in approval!

Cheers!

V.

Hahaha its pretty average I assume. I used to post 12 a day, when I got to 10,000 and admin status my posting has basically stopped. Koff, svloid and Raiyn are up there as well.

I don't spend anytime on bikeforums outside of work anymore.

Sydney posted a lot. And if you look for posts *started* by him, you'll find I believe 2 or maybe 3. One probably being a thank you from his daughter after his death. Which means he was posting (usually helpful but non-candy coated) advice on all kinds of topics.

I think I'm at 6.xx posts a day and climbing. I try to offer advice when I can, post a fair bit over in C&V and the roadie forum. Do most of my browsing at work, some times at school, and a bit in the evening when I get home and unwinding. Pretty much any time I *can't* be on the bike.

I am right around 5 or so, so I don't think its an unreasonable amount. There are some in here who would say that you havve no life but I would not be one of them.

Cheers,

Brian

Yes Raiyn sure does ha ha! But i decided i am just going to like the guy and steer away from our little Sparring matches. Despite me still standing firmly behind every word i ever wrote here or said to anyone i just don't want to be in a negative discussion with any other poster if it can be helped. This place is too good for that kind of thing and Raiyn most likely stands behinds what he says and his demeanor just as much and has reasons for them too. Live and let live is my new motto. So if you are reading this Raiyn, Hugs and Kisses for you and sorry for my cooties you might get from them

Must be this book i read, 'Happiness is a Choice', damn good book, seems to bring out the Tree Hugging hippy in me. Well the opinionated, 'i will stand by my words and take no ~~~~ from anyone but still be civil' type hippy at times, but Hippy none the less. Pass the Doobage man.

I don't know, don't fret. If you are having fun that's is all. As one one of my fave qoutes goes, 'The Race is long, in the end it is only with yourself'. Plus i think it matters more what people post than how often.

... it is 3.15 in the morn, don't know what the heck i am still doing up! I had better hit the sack. Night.

Like what... I think I'm at 10 posts a day? I don't know how that's possible sometimes. Some days, I don't want to post anything. Other days, you can't get me to stop.

I am at 1.16 posts per day. Reasons for not posting more:

A) only post when I feel I can contribute

b) try not to fill up database space with trivia

c) too busy to respond even if I can contribute

d) I usually do not respond to threads like this one

A five a day average might be a little wierd if you arrived at it by posting 500 times every one hundred days.
