How do you make you pet visible at night

It's moonlight savings time again and dark early. If I get home on time I can just get in a "daylight" ride with my dog. Soon even that won't be possible. Do any of you put blinking lights on your pet to make sure that they can be seen?

We only go a little way on a gravel road and then through fields, but still seems like she should have some light. What do y'all think?

I have seen some things you might be able to adapt to your dog.
  • Running stores sell armbands with battery operated blinking LEDs. If you dog is small enough, you could put these around his neck.
  • If you use a harness (instead of a collar), you could affix reflective tape in bands around the harness in several places.
  • I did a search on Google (reflective vests for dogs) and came up with Estelles Reflective Wear for dogs

I just clip a blinky to my pup's collar.

Thanks
I lke both thoughts the blinky and some of the reflectors on that link. SO I'll look into both.

They make red blinkys for dogs to be clipped on the collar like a tag, I have seen them on eBay. From the pictures they look slimmer than a person blinky, but you know photos can be misleading.

Invest in some fireflies as pets. They do the job for you.

At night, I just bring him into the house....that is, after I take him to his Taekwondo class.

light him or her on fire. get them motivated too surprisingly. people even stay out of your way too; amazing what a flaming puppy can do for you!

(and no flames ok, j/k! i asked my cat first if I could post a joke...she said meow (means yes & no, typical woman (j/k again!)))

How do you get your cat burning? I'm sure this was the voice of experience speaking right?
