Help with New Minoura Trainer

Hello All. I'm new to the biking community. I'm anxious to start my training. I bought I great Minoura MAG 850 second hand trainer. Problem is, I didn't get any directions on to how to hook it up to my bike. Was wondering if someone could give me very detailed directions or drawings showing how the wheel connects. The skewer puzzles me. I don't want to do something wrong and damage my bike or trainer. Any help wil be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have that exact trainer. Instead of me trying to explain, here is a link to the manufacturers page that has a downloadable pdf of the instructions.

https://www.minoura.jp/index-et.html
Hope this helps.

Thanks for trying to help. I've seen all the drawings from their website, and still don't have a clue. None show how to attach the Trainer to the wheel. I have to take the wheel apart somehow to attach the skewer don't I ?

Sheldon Browns site says it is under construction, so I will attempt to explain.

To replace the skewer, stand your bicycle upside down on the handlebars and seat. Pull the Quick Release lever on the skewer down to release tension. This may be a good time to notice how much pressure it takes to close the release lever for when you reassemble. Rotate the QR lever assembly in a counterclockwise motion (unthread) while holding onto the other side of the skewer. Pay attention to how the springs are positioned on the axle. After removing the QR lever assembly and spring from the rear axle (skewer), pull the axle out from the other side. Your rear wheel should stay in place if this is a newer bicycle. Thread the spring and QR lever assembly back on the axle so you do not lose it.

Unthread the QR lever assembly on the trainer skewer and remove the closest spring. Insert the axle back into the hub where you just removed the original one. Put on the spring and thread the QR lever assembly onto the axle. Adjust tension by threading assembly on further for more tension or unthreading for less tension. Try to position the lever so it is near or between the frame tubes.

The large cutout on the trainer mounts usually goes toward the release lever on the skewer and the small cutout goes around the small part of the lever. Here are directions from another trainer that may help.

I was just going to post with instructions and saw that edp773 beat me to it.
You probably did a better job of expalining than I would have.

Thanks for responding guys. I think I'll just have to go to a bike shop and let them show me once. I have a new bike. It's a comfort bike, no QR on wheel. I don't have but one spring on my trainers skewer. I just don't see how my rear wheel can stay intact as I try to take out the axle. Thanks again.
