Specialized Body Geometry Saddle Help

Ok - so I thought I had this saddle set up right - but it still does not feel right. I have one of the Comfort line saddles...

As far as the level of the seat - these saddles are higher in the back where the actual seat pads are than the nose.

Is the trick to keep the nose of the saddle parallel to the ground, and not worry about the angle of the seat pads ?

I am having trouble figuring out what 'level' means with these saddles.....

Personally, I have never interfaced well with Body Geometry seats. Everyone is built differently so it may not be right for you either. My favorite seat is the Terry Fly, I have it on two bikes. You might want to shop around......

I keep mine parrell with the ground. I've also noticed that SBG's set higher than my other seats so I've lower the seat post a tad too. It took me about 200 miles before I really started to feel comfortable on my SBG.

My SBG seat is parallel with the ground, and I made sure of that by putting a level on the nose and the high point on the back of the seat (either one will do). It is the most comfortable seat I have ever had, and I appreciate the split as it allows riding in relative comfort with regular pants on too. Before getting this seat, I was suffering a certain kind of numbness that I found uncomfortable from my regular seat that came with the bike.

RollingGeek - do what's best for you. It does take a bit of practice to get it right. I have my Specialized seat angled pointing down at the front. Others like it parallel to the ground and maybe some like it pointing up. Inbetween the extremes is your setting.
