LBS problems
Ok, first off, I do not have an abundence of time, my time is valueble and right now I cant go there and work this out, so this is how I will vent my anger
I went yesterday to pick up a bike rack. I was getting on that would fit on my Jeeps hitch. I asked the guy if it would fit on my Jeep, because the spare tire is mounted on the back. He said "yea, no problem, It will fit." Hey, guess what! It doesnt fit. I just wish they would know what they are talking about before they speak.
Anyone else have problems with stupid employees?

that is where I went
Im settled down now, I just think they shouldnt hire kids who dont know what they are talking about.
The manager helped me today and was really cool about it. And for reference, this was the one on 16 mile in Sterling Heights

I was refering to the one on woodward. They too have a lot of idiot kids working there these days, but in general they are the best shop around. One way you can be sure to talk to someone who isn't a moron is to go to the woodward location and insist that Mat the manager assists you rather than some idiot 14-17year old, but in general most of the older guys working there know exactly what they are talking about.

You take off the tire and put the receiver part over the studs then mount your tire. The upright then bolts to the receiver part sticking through your spare. It's very sturdy and works great for one or two bikes.

Ill have to go to the Royal Oak store from now on then. I got a Thule hitch rack, because I also use my brothers Durango sometimes when I go riding. It clears the tire. Thanks for the help
