Question about my Specialized
I recently purchased a Specialized Stumpjumper for myself at a local thrift store, and i am trying to find out more information about it and would like any assistance that you can give. I have the serial number, but i didnt know if i could find year info and stuff from that or if there were other ways so i have a pic if you need to see it and i would appreciate any info you can give me.

maybe @ www.specialized.com their web site has a location where you can register your bike if it is a Specialized model. At the bottom of the form is a space for the serial number and another for comments. Try registering your bike and add a comment asking for info about the bike. From the serial number they should at least be able to give you the age. If the police asked they could probably look up where it was first sold. Cold Case files could take it from there
