Guys, I'm afraid RainmanP is missing again. We need to put radar or something on him.

Maybe Rainman is on hide mode, so he can be on, but we won't know it. Other than down at the bottom of the main page it will say something like,"7 members online" but you will only see 6 user names. But still, a lot of people probably do that.

And I suppose sometimes with good reason, but just for the record, I never do. So if you ever see me there, send me a message or say hi or something if you want to. I'm even in the Kansas City phone book! Didn't even have to pay extra!

He may be out testing some new equipment or other he just purchased.

Knowing his affinity for new equipment, this might take some time!

Boy, do I know that feeling. Sometimes I just want to try out some new groceries.

My retirement check comes just once a month, and I keep a spreadsheet to alert me to how much I can theoretically spend each day.

Therefore don't expect to see me describing any new bikes very soon. But I do enjoy what I have.

Ha ha. You guys are still teens at heart.
My mom hates taking me grocery shopping because I ask for so much. But I can't help myself, I love testing new foods. My favorite area is the bread area, with all the krispy creme donuts, bear claws, danishes, powdered donuts, moon pies, little debbie snacks. I probably drool the whole time I'm in the bread area. And then there is the "health food" section. Now what is a 17 yo interested in "health food" for? The energy bars. I tried a clif bar(peanut butter chocolate) the other day, it was great!!! I also like the wildberry gatorade bar. My mom won't get me powergels yet, but I'm working on it!!!

"Little Debbie," those magical words...

Once I walked down to the grocery store (0.75 miles), and bought some groceries including a box of L. D. chocolate-covered peanut-butter bars.

I ate more than half the box on the walk home.

Well, it was uphill coming back, so I needed to, right?

I have a box of LD Nutty Bars in my desk drawer right now. Sometimes I need that sugar boost to get me on my way home.

JonR, I can appreciate what you are saying about enjoying what you have and not needing more. Right now I am saving 40% of my income so that I can buy a house in 2-3 yrs. That does not leave me much cash, but I have enjoyed living on a fixed budget...it encourages discipline.
