Bianchi vs Lemond vs Something else?

Hello

First time poster! Great forum here.

I have been riding an old pink Schwinn Super Sport road bike for quite sometime now. I decided as my biking is now increasing, it is time for a new bike. I am somewhat of a bike commuter and ride for fun. I want a new ROAD BIKE, not a Hybrid.

The two bikes I have been looking at are the 06 Bianchi Brava and 06 06 Lemond Etape. They are both in the same price range.

Does anybody have any imput on which bike is better in there opinion or another bike that is better in the $800 price range?

Thank you so much for you imput.

Can't speak for the Bianchi, but definitely test ride the LeMond. Though I like it, not everyone will be comfortable with Greg's Euro geometry....

Hey, Nick, I answered. or somewhat answered your post in the other forum.

I'm thinking I read a thread of yours stating that you were from somewhere near Corona. If so, I looked at Jenson USA.com, a couple of motnths ago and they had Lemond Tourmalets, reg $1100 on sale for $800. Maybe they still got 'em? Showroom is in Ontario.
