Revolutionary new drink bladder

I'd like to bring forumers attention to the new Osmos drinks bladder

It is specifically designed to cope with electrolyte loss in hot climates (so not much use for UK, then - for a few years, at least)

Using a specially modified Gortex panel which acts as the back of the bladder and lies against your back, your electrolyte-containg (sodium, potassiumt, etc.) sweat passes straight through into your sports drink and keeps the electrolyte balance normal. In fact, it has a superior performance to the usual drinks as the amount of electrolytes and minerals is automatically increased or decreased according to the amount lost in your perspiration.

It seems to me that it will supercede the now traditional Camelbak and similar competitors' models and will probably be seen on both mtb and road circuit races. Time trialists will probably be the best road customers for this as its use will enable them to keep amuch more erodynamic while drinking when compared with the traditional bottle and cage.

I hasten to add that I have no financial interest in this product

Hmmmm, seems to me that unless it is one big mama bladder it is only going to absorb a small percentage of the electorlytes since it is only resting against a small percentage of your pores that excrete sweat. Now if it had an attachment that sucked the salt off the sides of my face and helmet straps, that would be something!

I never had the stuff, I just love making fun of it's name.

Might buy some off j-list sometimes just to try it out.
