hmmm It was a 2005 C'dale r1000 $1000 and they had an email address salesdep@netzero.com do not bid on auction but contact email address.

Yes, that was a scam. That same seller also had some Giant's for sale and asked for everyone to not bid through the auction but to send an e-mail.
They were posted on Friday, knowing that ebay will take them down on Monday and hopefully some suckers will fall for it in the process.

If they say contact via email instead of bidding, it is a guaraunteed, 100% ripped off or no money back, scam.
