stupid question

Hey Joe(gardner)
Would it be possible to have some kinda program that makes a users screen flash and say something like"Yaaa!!!! You are now a senior member!!!" or "Yaaaa!!! That was your 100th post" and so on?
Basically something to celebrate someone's new BFC status?

I know this question is stupid, but what the hay.

Better yet, a routine that will flash Pete Clark's screen when somebody gets dangerously close to his number of posts?

I don't know about that. It looks like Ba-Dg-Er is giving Pete a run for his money.

Well maybe I could take hime on. Sure, I've got over 750 posts to go before I catch up, but I could do that over a long weekend.

and you cannot just put any bike forum member in that kind of situation , coz' that person might be offended and we don't want this site to be a site where all the members are "WAR FREAKS"and this site is a very friendly site and lots of fun and dancing, and lots of beers

Well, this thread didn't go where I expected it to, but what the heck? What thread does go where is it supposed to go?
I don't think I will ever pull ahead of Pete, he seems to be able to post about any subject, I can only post about something I know or that catches my imagination on fire.

Hmm, odd thread Fubar, i dont think this is posible, it would add to much overhead to the current server load to check each post for a new milestone...
