Trike for handicapped adult

I have limited use of my legs so long walks and long standing are
hard for me to do. I can ride both a bike and a trike since my weight
is primaily off my legs.

I know they make electric scooters for the handicapped but I wondered if
anyone makes a compact folding light trike that could be used instead of an
electric scooter. Something with small wheels, folds with folding bars that
is suitable for indoor & outdoor use to allow the benefits of some cardio work
out while moving around.

I googled and came up dry. Anyone else have any info????

The Worksmen bikes are notoriously heavy (>50lbs) and way overbuilt. They are fine if you weight 300lbs or carry heavy shopping loads.

Useful liks:

The Tricycle Association website seems to be down.

Thanks for the replies. I already have a Worksman PAV 3 that I just received
this spring. The PAV does great OUTSIDE and I use it alot for 'round town travel.

However, I need something for city travel on sidewalks or INSIDE of stores and such.
That's were wheelchairs and electric scooters are used. I want to avoid wheelchairs
as long as I can and electric scooters are a never ending cost and hassle.

The link to the Italian trike is more what I ment but they are to big for inside work.
Anyone know of a much smaller trike that can carry an adult**********

Like these but smaller wheels........

20 inch wheel trike will fit in most grocery stores, and it is built to carry adults alreasy. You could swap the wheels for 16" youself, and keep the 20" for later use.

I've seen a similar one in person

https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ight=aunt+ruby

That has 24" wheels. She likes it!

The Ryan Accessability solutions sounds like a goosd idea, but the link is not working. You can skim through the links page and see many interesting designs.
