Wow, I'd love to live in Utah. The guy at work that bikes and a guy he knows have started a SORBA chapter, they meet every Wednesday at a nearby trail, and then 1 or 2 saturdays a month they go to a trail in other parts of the state. It's pretty cool.

Fubar, There are seriously 5 year round ski resorts that offer mountain biking in the summer (lazy cycling, lift lines, bah), moab is 2hrs away, a few national parks for amazing road rides within a days drive. Over all, i would guess that theres over 250 miles of single track within a 30min drive from my house, i cant really complain i guess

Badger, $10 says i will be in BIKE before you make it into CycleSport or VeloNews

I'm new at this, so I don't want to be too ambitions. Would it be alright if I tried to make my cycling magazine debut in Bicycling, and worked my way up to the real magazines?

I wish I could, but the cheapest road bike is 550, I can't afford that.
