How do you like your Norco Mocha? Are all of them a high polished shiny Easton Aluminum? What year is it? What could I expect to pay for a used one? Thanks.

name - Dee
Location - Davis, CA
Profession - school teacher
Age - 46
Bike - Specialized Dolce Elite, Specialized Crossroads for commuting. I'm trying to go 'car-lite'
Components - stock
Favorite Ride - Where I haven't been yet! Not an explorer, I really enjoy club rides where I follow someone that knows where he's going. In my future is touring the Pacific Coast, Napa, San Juan Islands, Canada, Italy. My first solo tour alone will probably be a ride down to Monterey and back. Or to Concord, where I grew up and give my poor family a heart attack...
Years riding - On a road bike? Almost 1 year. Before, I did bike around town once in a while. That was when 3 miles was a BIG deal, and 5 miles was just crazy.
Longest ride - 75 miles
Favorite Pro Rider - Lance Armstrong. Read his book years before I thought about biking, because my sister was going through thyroid cancer. Had no clue to biking before I read his book. I couldn't put the book down. I also like George Hincapie. He's funny and a really nice guy.
Marital Status - Single. Great freedom, but I would sure like to meet a roadie my age to ride with. Tandems look like fun! Two kids, one is a senior and will be 18. He's a mountain biker (or something like that) on a Cannondale Chase he bought himself from his part-time job. I rode that thing. My knees were up in the air, and it weighs a ton! He jumped on my Dolce and started doing bunny hops. (!!! OFF!!!) Daughter (16), sigh, doesn't enjoy biking at all, and takes the bus or walks. Where did I go wrong? Before she was a teenager, she's hop on the bike with me to the grocery store, where we'd load up both our baskets...
Favorite Musical Artists - Jill Scott, Yoyo Ma, Alanis Morresette, NickelCreek, Norah Jones, Beatles
Favorite Food - sushi, seafood, Chinese food, BBQ ribs. Heck, most any food. I ride to eat.
Religion - Buddhism. It's a philosphy, not a religion.

Last edited by overthere; 05-04-05 at 08:48 PM. Reason: I wanted to add George Hincapie in favorite riders....
