jamis diablo - worth buying?
I am totally unfamiliar with mtn bikes. I have been advised to get a used brand name bike instead of going to walmart. What do you guys think of this one:

Thanks for the repy.
Here is a little more detail on what I am looking for. I do contract work, so I have to move every 5-7 months. I am looking for a used bike so that I can re-sell it for about $50-$70 difference when leaving Albuquerque. Any advice on used bikes will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again. |
How do you plan to use the bike, Sajid? Off road for trail riding, or jumping/stunts, or for riding on the streets, or all of those?
Reason I ask--how you plan to use it makes a big difference in the kind of bike you need, and impacts its resale value. And if you get a bike that is just right, and fits you, you may want to keep it! Sell the TV and stereo and keep your bike. |
Hi Bobcat,
I plan on using it on trails (mostly in-city) and occasionaly commute. I would say exercise / fun combo bike. And believe me, I do not have a TV or a stereo. My main luggage is computer related junk (which is also my work). I really need to buy something that have a good re-sale. Thanks. |
