I find this Craiglist posting very interesting. The first paragraph states that this is the bike Lance road on the final day of the 2004 TDF. In the next paragraph he or she states that Lance has touched this bike by signing it.

If Lance rode this bike, then of course he has touched it. Seems a little clarity is needed to make this statement correct. Did Lance ride this bike or sign it?

Maybe the First mountain biker could help this person write English
clearly!

Is it for sale for $1450? The same add seems to be showing up on every CL.

Seems inexpensive for a $9,499.99 bike doesn't it. This may not be a buyer beware sale, but sure made me pull out the red flags,

Might be a typo.
It might be $14500.
And he meant it's the same type of bike lance road, not literally the same one. That's why later one, he says that lance actually touched that particualr bike.

You are correct SL. What he or she meant and what was written are completely different. But that was only the obivious reason for my post.

I was confident the sharp minds on bikeforums would question the validity of this listing.

Gee, that's funny. They must be terrible bikes. There's one selling in my area too! :p

Must be a terrible bike for someone to pay $5,800 to purchase the bike on May 9, and then try to sell it 9 days later for $1,450. :rolleyes:
