Today's Ride: Pics of Merrimack River in flood

Hallelujah! Dry enough to ride today - 48 miles on the MTB in the Nashua, Lowell, Pelham area. Took some pictures of the Merrimack River in flood. Click on the picture to go to the page, which also contains pictures taken in August last year from the same places - this might give you an idea of just how much water we've had in this area over the past two weeks:

Wow. Some really nice pictures there. Prayers to anyone who has been devastated by the flooding. Just not something I ever expected to see around here.

    Thanks for posting the pics.

I'm a native of Ipswich, MA (now living in Colorado) and I was quite curious of what was happening with all the flooding back there.

Someone did post pics of the flooding in Ipswich, MA. Here's the link: http://www.ipshh.org/

Water is Mother Nature's bulldozer. It's humbling to see it in full force along with the damage it can do.

    Thanks for posting the pics.
    That's gonna leave a mark.

Nice job, amazing pictures! I wish I'd braved the rain and ridden last weekend - my pics were taken on Thursday, the first really nice day we had after the storm and the river had gone down slightly, but then I hate riding in the rain. I took some pictures on Monday - these were taken in Dunstable and Pepperell, near one of my local rides:
