Transformation #1. A visit to Springbrook today indicated the transformation wrought by the rain all last week (they got 7 inches on Tuesday morning alone!). Absolutely magnificent.
Transformation #2. There were about four kids up there who seemed rather impressed to see a cyclist. They seemed genuinely excited asking questions like "did you ride up the mountain?" and "do you get tired riding a long way." I'm just wondering at what age the transformation into the driver who hates the sight of cyclists begins.

is a major cause of confusion and poor choices.
Some people hate kids. I can't understand that.
Humility is an attribute that actually makes us teachable, therfore potentially wiser.

Chris -
The selfish ones learn to hate bicycles (or anything else that gets in their way) as late teens. But you can see it developing in some earlier if you watch closly or remember your classmates when you were young.
Pete -
that makes me glad I don't seem to grow up.
