Respectful Views of Others

I refuse to respect others that make public death threats. It is as simple as that!

N_C needs to be banned everywhere!

Huh?

Your link points to a bunch of posts. To which are you refering?

Also, take note of the fact that few people think anon. attacks on someone aren't very credible. You may want to make your second post something positive. It'll get you farther here.

Saddam, I have a strong negative reaction to the username that you have chosen. I find it very hard to take seriously a post made in that name. Be that as it may...

N_C has not, apparently violated the BikeForums Guidelines. His words and actions in another forum, aren't relevant here. Bicycling's forums are unmoderated. If any member steps out of line here, they can be reported to the moderators, who are vigilant and diligent. The few times that I have made reports, action has been taken quickly and appropriately. Until a member violates the guidelines, there is no reason to stop them from posting.

EDIT: Death threats are illegal. If you are truly concerned about death threats made in another forum, the appropriate way to deal with it is to involve the legal authorities.

Saddam, this people who gave death threat are nothing but wussy, I mean they are @3%$%$****, just don't mind them, and if you think your life is being threatened then by all means go to the proper authority.

Right, I'm going to close this thread as this issue has been done to death on this forum. The fact is, to my knowledge at least, N_C has yet to step out of line on this board. Yes, I am aware that he has stepped out of line on the bicycling.com forums, but so have a number of others if the threads I've read over there are any indication. One wonders why the mods over there haven't dealt with those posts yet.

If N_C or anyone else is abusing e-mail or private messaging through this forum, contact myself or one of the other moderators here with the details and the issue will be dealt with as appropriate in due course. Until then:

1. Read Regular Guy's post above

2. Thread closed.
