Prorace brand? Shorts & Seatpost

Anyone have experience with this brand? It seems to be really cheap, but on Probikekit.com everything is really cheap. I am not interested in saving $20 only to have a piece of junk.

I got my new road bike several weeks ago, and my new seatpost isn't a microadjust and I just can't get my brooks to be comfortable. I am either falling forward or getting crushed.

Also, I would like to get a decent pair of shorts. I have one pair of gel things bought before I new better. And, a pair of normal chamois, but they are a bit cheap. I am going to be doing longer rides and it is clear, these are not the shorts.

This is what I am looking at buying.

I wasn't looking for a 20 page book report, but can you expound a little?

There's not much to explain. They're just like any other house brands. Nothing terribly wrong with them. Good value for the money. I'd be slightly leery of the carbon seatpost (i'm a retrogrouch) but the shorts - no problem.

Any particular reason why?
